Mena Alexandra suvari, born February 13, 1979 in the USA is an actress as well as a fashion designer and model. Shortly after beginning her acting career Mena Alexandra Svari was a regular in guest roles for 1990s TV shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her film debut came in the 1997 dramatic film Nowhere. After her performances on the screen in American Beauty (for which she received a BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted more attention, she made her move into more prominent role. Since then she appeared as a co-star in Loser (2000) alongside the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs as well as later portrayed the lead character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun and Trauma, a thriller movie from 2004 were two of her appearances. Also, she starred in HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The series was a hit during 2004. In 2005 the Screen Actors Guild awarded her the title of one of the most outstanding actors. In 2008, she was cast in a series of movies including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden. Suvari is the actress for Lancome cosmetics as well as print ads in the brand's Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured in several fashion blogs and magazines including Vogue. She has long been a supporter and activist for the highly regarded African relief organisation, the African Medical and Research Foundation. She is also active in female empowerment issues as well as charities whose cause is breast cancer as well as the End Violence Against Women campaign. She was a star with all three films, and she was the actor she is. Missy is a very generous person. She spends her time on philanthropic projects. She's part of an organization that is non-political and is aiming to create comfortable and affordable shoes to South America. The actress was also recognized by the Leo Awards as the best Actress nominated for a Streamy Award in the Leo Awards.
